Border Crossings and Passenger Lists and ancestry.com?
Hi! I am new to this board and find it very interesting. I am trying to help my Dad with an ongoing mystery of our family and finally stumbled upon an exciting new piece of info.
The problem? I choose to not own a credit card, so ancestry.com is difficult for me. I’m sure I’m onto something here. I hope it’s not awful of me to ask for help here. This is what I seek.
Border crossings Canada to U.S. 1895-1956
Mrs. Peter John Mahoney (Eveline Grace)
Peter John Mahoney b.1901 Bristol UK (lived in Ghana)
Arrival Niagara Falls, New York and/or Buffalo (found online)
also:
New York passenger lists 1820-1957
for same (or John Peter Mahoney -reversed) found online at ancestry.com
My Dad and uncle both thought Peter John Mahoney had vanished in Africa in the 30′s (born in Bristol 1901), but we have now traced him (and wife Eveline Grace) on a few trips to Canada up until 1957. Dad and I are very excited, as we see now they may have ended up in the US.!

I did a quick search.. I saw the passenger list with John Peter Mahoney.
I found a birth for Peter John Mahoney in Bristol but I haven’t found anything on Eveline Grace…Do you have more information?
