hi if i am living with a british woman and im having a baby and i have 4 months left on my ancestry visa will the home office give me a certificate of approval to marry my fiancee and what steps can i take as im zimbabwean and zimbabwe refuses to accept me as a citizen due to my skin color? which department would help me in uk?
CoA’s can take longer than four months. You have to prove your relationship is genuine.
Even if you can marry, being married to a British citizen does not give you the right to live in the UK. You would have to apply for a spouse visa and meeting those requirements are tough.
